These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Monolith and Heart website and your purchase of any product from us. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.
Our products
Every rug and homeware piece we sell is handcrafted to order by artisan weavers in and around Delhi, India, using natural and responsibly reclaimed materials. Because each piece is made by hand, minor variations in colour, texture, size and finish between what you see online and what arrives are normal and expected — they are the mark of genuine handwork, not a defect.
Orders and production
Placing an order authorises us to begin production of your piece. Estimated production time is approximately 4 to 6 weeks, followed by shipping with tracking provided by email. You may request changes to size or colourway within 24 hours of ordering — see our Exchange Service page — after which your order enters production and can no longer be modified or cancelled for change of mind.
Pricing and payment
All prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout and are inclusive of applicable fees unless stated otherwise. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors and to update prices for future orders at any time.
Shipping
We ship worldwide with free shipping included on every order. Delivery timeframes are estimates only and may vary due to customs processing, courier delays or circumstances outside our control. See Shipping & Delivery.
Returns, refunds and warranty
Our approach to returns, exchanges and warranty claims is set out in full on our Returns & Refunds and Rug Warranty pages, which form part of these Terms. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable consumer protection law in your country of residence.
Intellectual property
All designs, photography, text and branding on this site belong to Monolith and Heart and may not be reproduced without our written permission.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Monolith and Heart is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of this site or your purchase of our products, beyond the value of the relevant order.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections that apply in your own country, including the Australian Consumer Law for customers purchasing from Australia.
