A rug made to last, with a little help along the way
A handmade, natural-fibre rug is built to live with you for decades — and a little professional care goes a long way toward keeping it that way. Alongside every rug we sell, we offer a small suite of services to help it age beautifully instead of just wearing out.
What we offer
- Professional cleaning. Specialist hand-washing suited to natural and reclaimed fibres — gentler and more thorough than a standard carpet clean, and essential every 18–24 months for rugs in regular use.
- Repair & restoration. Re-binding of worn edges, fringe repair, reweaving of damaged sections and pile restoration, carried out by hand, by people who understand how the rug was originally made.
- Colour and pile assessment. If a rug has faded unevenly or the pile has worn down in a high-traffic path, we can advise on whether it's repairable, and what that would involve.
- Care advice. Not sure what your rug needs, or how to treat a particular stain or wear pattern? Just ask — this is often the fastest and cheapest fix.
How it works
Send us a few clear photos of the rug and a short description of what it needs. We'll come back with a straightforward assessment, an estimated cost, and a realistic timeframe — repairs and specialist cleaning take real time, in the same way making the rug did. Pricing depends on the size, fibre and condition of your piece, so we quote each job individually rather than publishing a flat rate that wouldn't be honest for every rug.
